Daily technical review and video analysis help you to see your progression and set you up for the next day’s class. Your coaches will work with each individual through the week to ensure your lessons are meeting your goals and you are advancing through the learning plan developed at the start of your retreat. Younger kids are always in surf lessons with a 2:1 child to instructor ratio.
After surfing, we relax on the beach with a private sunset bonfire and enjoy some snacks and drinks. We like to treat you to a Sunset Surf Safari mid week where we venture over to Playa Hermosa for an afternoon surf session. We offer a flexible schedule, fitting in one surf lesson per day and we change up the surf spot a few times through the week. This is an enriching cultural experience where you will discover Costa Rica’s stunning natural environment from your local, bilingual instructors. Kids will get a chance to learn about sea turtle preservation efforts underway at the Romelia Nature Reserve. Your entire family will witness the true beauty of Costa Rica’s ecosystem, learning lots about the wildlife and natural environment from your licensed naturalist guides as you hike to Playa Grande.
